LEED Silver Certification

The construction of three new 3,500 SF bank office branches located in Deerfield Township, Fairfield Township and Liberty Township, Ohio. Each branch office, approximately $1,000,000 in value, is part of PNC’s new LEED-rated prototype facilities. Sustainable requirements on each facility included the separation of construction debris, recycled rainwater, special HVAC equipment, electric solar panels, and floor tiles and countertops made of composite materials. Working with a LEED consultant to choose materials that would meet or exceed the LEED building requirements, our team managed the coordination of owner-supplied items such as exterior panels for the envelope, millwork and flooring materials.

Megen served as the general contractor for each project managing the site development and construction packages. Working with the owner and construction manager, our team value engineered several thousand dollars in savings on each project. Each new office branch was completed in six months, and achieved LEED Silver certification.
