This project consisted of the renovation of the existing elementary school, and an addition to and renovation of the high school. Offices for the Superintendent and Treasurer, a new band room, special needs classrooms and two large kindergarten rooms with self-contained restroom facilities were added to the Elementary School.

The High School additions included a large commons area, science room, modern kitchen and an art room with its own dark room and kiln. Both buildings, then underwentextensive renovations, including new MEP mechanical systems, interior remodeling (painting, doors, lockers, ceilings and floors) and updated technology.

Megen, in conjunction with their JV partner, served as the Construction Manager on the project for Marion Local Schools and OSFC. Megen’s personnel led the on-site management and preconstruction efforts. The project was completed ahead of schedule and on budget, with minimal disruption to classes.
