The building consists of a single story kitchen/mechanical room next to a two-story gymnasium/auditorium complex and a two-story academic facility that serves grades pre-K through sixth. The building incorporated many energy saving features including large windows, daylight harvesting lighting controls, highly efficient HVAC systems, low albedo roofing materials and sloped ceilings.

Megen Construction, in conjunction with their JV partner, provided construction management services for Hamilton City School District and the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC). Megen led construction from preconstruction to through closeout, and was responsible for project coordination, bid/award, scheduling, cost control, owner communication and student/staff safety.
