Following the 2012 expansion and renovation, the Sharonville Convention Center has seen strong growth and more demand for midsize convention/meeting space. When the time came to move forward with an exhibit hall expansion, the City of Sharonville has once again turned to Megen Construction to meet their building needs.

This exhibit hall expansion will double the exhibit hall space to over 40,000 SF. Construction includes an expanded public space, a full kitchen with food service equipment, concessions area, ticket office, promoter’s show office, additional restrooms, storage spaces, a freight elevator to an upper-level mezzanine, loading docks, and additional parking. The addition will have a brick, decorative CMU and aluminum storefront exterior, and will match the existing interior and exterior finishes of the Sharonville Convention Center. The new exhibit hall, which will be named Todd Portune Hall after the former Hamilton County commissioner, will allow for the number of trade show booths to double to 200.

Megen Construction is serving as construction manager for the City of Sharonville, managing the preconstruction and construction process. This encore project is a follow-up to the original expansion and renovation we completed in 2012. The exhibit hall expansion is currently under construction and on track for January 2024 completion.
