The renovation of the lower level of the Phoenix Community Learning Center into a High School for grades 9 and 10. The goal of the project was to provide a code compliant space to educate students, at a similar fit and finish level of the first and second floors of the building. Renovations included creation of classrooms, laboratories, media rooms, administrative offices and a cafetorium. New MEP systems were installed on the lower level and handicap accessibility compliance was also integrated into the project. Scope of work was primarily interior renovations, with exterior opening upgrades and some site improvements.

As the design-builder, Megen was responsible for coordinating all facets of the project, including design coordination, establishment of the overall project schedule, cost control, safety management and coordination with school personnel. This is an encore construction project for the Phoenix Community Learning Center after Megen completed renovations of the first and second floors in 2009.
