This new 10,000 SF athletic complex at Indian Hill High School, titled Home of the Braves, was constructed adjacent to existing football and baseball fields. The new two-story facility features multiple locker rooms at field level, centralized spaces for coaches and athletic trainers, and concessions and public restrooms accessible to both the upper and lower fields. The Home of the Braves also includes a welcome plaza that ties together the District’s athletic fields and stadium with a new monumental stairway. It also creates a large outdoor community gathering space for district events and celebrations.

Serving as general contractor, Megen oversaw the schedule, budget and quality of the construction process. After removing portions of the existing plaza, our team built a new multi-purpose building and created a plaza with site walls, stairs, railings, fences, gates, walkways, and landscaping. We also simultaneously renovated the adjacent tennis courts, constructing five new courts complete with equipment, utilities, retaining walls and fencing.

The project was completed for the school district’s spring 2020 sports season, and is the new home for many athletic teams including football, lacrosse, track, cross country, baseball, softball and tennis.
