General Contracting

Megen offers this most traditional form of construction contracting to its clients who solicit Megen's involvement at the conclusion of the design phase. Under this scenario, Megen uses a combination of its own forces and direct subcontracting, to assume total responsibility for labor, material, equipment and supervision required to successfully complete the project for a stipulated lumpsum amount. This arrangement limits the Owner's exposure to work since the Owner has no direct contractual relationship with the subcontractors hired to perform the work. A sampling of projects completed by Megen using this delivery method includes the Tyler Davidson Fountain, Cincinnati Urban League Headquarters and YWCA Headquarters.
