BrewWorks/ Jillian's

The Renovation of this 140,000 s.f. historic landmark is perhaps the most challenging renovation of its era. This former home for the Bavarian Brewery sat vacant for over three decades. This period of unoccupancy took a toll and turned this historic landmark into a pigeon infested and crumbling dump. The following factors added to the construction challenges: no existing drawings, historic nature of the building, deteriorating structural components and environmental contamination. The estimating and assessment knowledge demonstrated by Megen Construction Company on this project was referred to as Herculean Task by Cincinnati Enquirer. We were about to establish a construction budget based on a single line diagram that stood true until the end of construction.
